this time one week ago,the superbowl was rolling on.this time one week ago,i was one gigantic ball of nerves.a week?!it’s seriously only been 1!?!?!week?!?!?!the offseason officially stinks.

  i contemplated what to do on this oh so dreary day.watch some NFL.com videos?!try all my jerseys on and imagine im yelling at our TV screen?!?!maybe become an over emotional person and just cry,blubber,and sob over the gaping hours of sheer boredom.no,no,nuh uh.after a few more moments of pondering,i decided to do something completely sports free…..perhaps borderline feminine.i choose to fill my afternoon with……….

maddie,the youngest mechling female,entered a very memorable and challenging stage of life today.maddie is officially a TEENager. =S 

i suddenly feel like an insanely old individual.

something you should know about me.(aside from my love for sports)i have this repulsive,borderline hated for sweets.i swear my sweet tooth disappeared when all wisdom was pried out of my mouth.actually,i slightly enjoyed that weekend of my life.memorial day weekend 2007,NASCAR and ice packs over stuffed my days.it was kinda relaxing.im so getting off topic.

you could place a giant slab of carrot cake on my lap and tell me Eli Manning ate from this same cake;i wouldnt lift a fork to it.a 100 pound bag of assorted candy could be placed on my doorstep with the tag:To Taylor,From the driver of a certain #5 car and;i would disperse it among my siblings.coldhearted?!some would say yes.but im sorry,i just cant do it.im getting nauseated just thinking about it.

  however,i do take enjoyment and sometimes relaxation in reading various food blogs.yes,im weird.dont judge me.when i stumbled across this super cute Pink Lady Cupcake recipe on A Cozy Kitchen,i knew this was THE recipe for Maddie.it’s cute,feminine and fun;maddie in a nutshell. :P 

macster held the recipe.i gathered the ingredients and got my bake on.  

maddie has a thing for strawberries,so of course those little guys got snuck into the Pink Lady.strawberry puree is quite the vibrant ingredient.

evenly divided into their thuper cute cocoons and ready for the oven to work it’s magic.after 15 mins of mingling with mr.oven and a brush with the oh-so-famous Cream Cheese Frosting,these ladies are ready for their close-up.

are they not adorable or what?!apparently they are quite the hit.the moment i set these on the table.the youngsters were snatching these up like a defensive player grabs for a fumbled football.i call that mission:accomplished!thank you Adrianna of A Cozy Kitchen for this scrumptious recipe.
